Lion and the lamb… was the first title of this page, but…

(…due to the book and how it changed my view of thinking about GODs thinking being often contrary to our human thinking, even logic, I have desided that the CONTRARY is a more descriptive title… :) )

On this page I want to collect Bible verse’s, Biblical truth’s that are describing the character of our GOD. More then that it describes HIM in a way that is uncomprehendable or “contrarian” to human logic. So lets build it… add things you think fits this desciption…

Like:

  1. Lion and the lamb
  2. α & ω
  3. He gave Grace and Truth (john 1:17)
  4. …

OR:

Biblical truths like:

- GOD uses broken vessels, we don’t, we throw them out.
- GOD uses the foolish things of this world, we throw the „foolish” people into sanatoriums…
- GOD sacrafices something perfect(JESUS) for something useless(me). Who would trade a Ferrari for a bike? HE does…
- GOD wants us to: „keep ourselves in the love of GOD” Jude 21, but in the whole Bible there is very few people who were able to do that, and most of them went through great hardships…For example Job…(Job 42:10) – …etc.

- GOD wants me to know HIM personally as a good friend…; me a limited dirty rag to be a “buddy” with the everlastin all knowing, omnipresent GOD?

Now its your turn to continue this list with comments… and when the “Board of Laci’s”* approves it, it will appear on this list… :)

- One of my favorite missionaries(Chris Wilk) added some more:

  1. If you want to be a leader, then be a servant;
  2. He calls us to bless those who persecute us;
  3. give and it will be given back;
  4. IF YOU WANT TO GAIN LIFE….THEN FIRST YOU MUST LOSE YOUR LIFE TO HIM!!!!
