I am sick of passive Christianity

I thought I am weird. GOD has given me a vision about or call based on few bible verses… and I either try to share that when I get a chance OR I build my whole sermon on that…. I think its of CRUCIAL IMPORTANCE to understand our calling and live it.

For awhile I felt like I am alone in it or barely few are with me… I am sick of christians who are not active.

Active in seeking GOD and HIS will for their lives…

Active in DOING what GOD has called them to do.

Few months ago I got a book from a missionary who has moved home with his family for some sabbatical time…  and as I opened this book I liked it immediately. Allow me to share with you my favorite quote so far:

Our faith in Christ must become a way of life, wherever we are. When that happens, it won’t be long before you begin to see the entire world, and your part in it, with different eyes. You will discover that GOD is opening doors for you to serve him in ways, you never thought were possible.”

Laci you are not alone… there are other (WAY MORE CRAZY) THEN YOU,  people…

I am not going to share now my 95 point on the call here… then you could call me Martin Nemeth or Laci Luther… as of now, I ask you to seek GOD to show you: Are you actively involved in all GOD has set before you for this time and season of your life?

You?

Your family?

Your church?

The world?

Pray and seek… HE WILL GIVE YOU…

Laci the addict of CALL.

  1. Good post. Another word for “passive” Christianity might be lukewarm, and the Bible has some very unpleasant things to say toward being lukewarm. May He continually wake us up spiritually so that we can live out our faith actively and passionately.
